China upbeat about state’s industrial potential
TNN | Mar 16, 2019, 05:53 ISTJamshedpur: At a time when #boycottchineseproducts has been trending on social media in India as a mark of protest against China’s stand on Jaish-e-Mohammed founder Masood Azhar, the consul general of China, Zhu Liyou, on Friday said Jharkhand has the potential to make its place in the business map of China as the mineral-rich state has requisite materials that could help it find a footprint there. Zhu was here to inaugurate the 10th Enterprise Jharkhand exposition.
Zhu said manufacturing and infrastructure are among vital components that drive the economy of China.
He said a state like Jharkhand, which has rich mineral reserves and has manufacturing plants of global brands like Tatas, can forge partnerships between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
