Tamil actor Vishal is now engaged to Anisha Alla Reddy. The couple sealed the deal on Saturday in a traditional engagement ceremony in the presence of their friends and family. Several friends and colleagues of Vishal took to social media to share pictures from the engagement.

Vishal and Anisha looked happy together and even flashed their engagement rings for the camera. Vishal was seen in a blue kurta pyjama while Anisha wore a beige saree with the traditional, ornate belt. Both of them also wore garlands around their necks. Check out pics from the engagement:

Vishal had announced his engagement in January this year on Twitter. “Yes. Happy. Too happy. Her name is Anisha Alla. And yes, she said ‘yes’. And it’s confirmed. My next biggest transition in life. Will be announcing the date soon,” Vishal had written in a tweet and shared two pictures of Anisha.

On her Instagram page, Anisha wrote: “I finally found somebody to go down the path of life with, loving him and life with true passion. I look up to this man for all that he stands for and for all of his heart. I vow to give back to him, the families and the people around with this step forward. I vow to be the best that I can be intention towards collective learning, love and moral value.”

While Vishal is a popular Tamil star, Anisha has worked in films like Pellichoopulu and Arjun Reddy. She was recently bombarded with mean comments from trolls who accused her of ‘buying Vishal with her money’. In no mood to take the trolling, Anisha gave a befitting reply to them. One of the trolls commented on their picture and wrote, “With money u can buy anyone begger over...let alone vishal...shame on u bi***!(sic).” Anisha replied, “If you think it was money that made Vishal fall for me, clearly you have no respect for who he is. Keep a little faith in life sometimes, it goes a long way.. take care.”
