The Thamarassery police on Friday took into custody a youth who allegedly tried to send ganja to Dubai in a concealed food packet through another person.
The police said the youth had handed over the packet to a Puthuppadi native, requesting him to deliver it to one of his close friends in Dubai. The trickery came to light when the Puthuppadi native, who was preparing to leave for Dubai, opened the packet for checking, the police said.
