US President Trump issues first veto over rejection of border wall emergency

US on Friday issued his first veto rejecting as "dangerous" and "reckless" congressional resolution of his emergency declaration and asserted that Americans would be "put at risk" at the southern border with if the measure became a law.

At the Oval Office, Trump was quoted by saying: "Today I am vetoing this resolution. has the freedom to pass this resolution, and I have the duty to veto it. There haven't been too many that are bigger emergency than what we have at our border."
