AAP points out MCC violation at E Singbhum schools
Debjani Chakraborty | TNN | Mar 16, 2019, 05:55 ISTRanchi: Members of the Aam Aadmi Party (East Singhbhum wing) on Friday wrote to the deputy commissioner and election commission regarding the posters of chief minister Raghubar Das inside school campuses in the district and has called for action against the same.
Shambhu Chaudhary, city president of AAP (Jamshedpur) said, “We were informed that several schools still have posters of Raghubar Das on display announcing schemes, including mid-day meals. We have handed over a memorandum to both the DC and the EC to register an FIR for violating the model code of conduct.”
“Another important issue is that all the tablets distributed to school teachers under the Gyansetu initiative have a photograph of the chief minister in the display. This is a blatant violation of the model code of conduct once the elections are declared it should be removed immediately. But even before that, we want an FIR to be lodged,” he added.
