A woman SPO (special police officer) was shot dead by suspected terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. The woman cop Khushboo Jan was working as SPO in J&K police department. According to police, terrorists shot her from close range at her home in Vehil in Shopian district. She was critically injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Sources said that she was attacked earlier but survived. Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a man-hunt operation for the assailants.
