Mercedes-Benz Drives Around With Gas Nozzle And Hose Still Attached!

Mercedes-Benz’s range of AMG-branded models love gas. However, we never knew they were quite this thirsty for fuel.

This clip, shared on Reddit, shows a silver Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG driving somewhere in the United States… with a gas nozzle and part of its hose sticking out.

Evidently, the driver of the E55 AMG fueled up and simply forgot to remove the nozzle. They must have then drove off, snapping the hose in half and probably leaving the gas station covered in highly-flammable petrol. The clip itself runs for a touch over 50 seconds and it doesn’t seem as though the driver ever notices the gas nozzle is still in place.

The man who filmed the video asserts that others on the road attempted to inform the driver of their little gas station mishap but the driver simply wasn’t paying attention to them.

Powering the Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG is a 5.4-liter V8 which, in its final form, pumped out 469 hp and could accelerate the super sedan to 60 mph (96 km/h) in almost the same time as a Ferrari 575M Maranello. Good think it only took the nozzle and the hose with it, then, and not the entire fuel tank…
