A sub-inspector of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate was placed under suspension for his alleged involvement in a land dispute case.

Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, who is currently working in Malkajgiri police station, was accused involving himself in settling a court referred land dispute case while he was with Vanasthalipuram police station.

“He tried to solve the case pertaining to eight acres land parcel in Injapur village after pressurising the landowner,” a senior officer said.

Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M. Bhagwath, who suspended Reddy, also issued charge memos to Vanasthalipuram Assistant Commissioner of Police C. Gandhi Narayana and Inspector A Venkataiah.
