BHOPAL: The Congress party have filed a complaint with the Election Commission of India against the former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the leader of opposition Gopal Bhargava for calling Congressmen and government employees as a snake.
The complaint was made by the media spokesperson Narendra Saluja, state media vice president Bhupendra Gupta, JP Dhanopia and others to the chief electoral officer VL Kantha Rao, here on Friday. On Thursday Chouhan and Bhargava addressed the Vijay Sankalp Yatra in Guna district. Bhargava was lashing on the Congress and alleged that the government is giving employment to youths to become snake charmer.
And to catch a snake the government will pay Rs 500 on each snake. He further stated “If all the snakes are captured by them, then whole Vallabh Bhawan (Mantralaya) will become empty. The bungalows of the ministers will also going to become vacant, because they are the real snakes.”
The ex-CM also said that Congressmen are hungry for power for last 15 years. Saluja alleged that the BJP leaders have not only insulted the government employees but also violated the norms of model code of conduct.
