In a bid to keep himself involved as the Scarlet Speedster, is taking a hands-on approach to "The Flash".

The is reportedly clashing with directors and Jonathan Goldstein, who were tapped for the project in January 2018, over the script.

Daley and Goldstein, whose recent works include "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Game Night", "have a light-hearted approach to the material," according to hollywoodreporter.com.

On the other hand, Miller wants a darker take on the material.

Generally, the light-hearted approach is favoured by , which has experienced success with "Aquaman" and is seeing strong buzz with the upcoming "Shazam!".

In a bid to keep himself involved in the movie, which is reportedly called "Flashpoint", Miller is teaming up with Grant Morrison, the acclaimed comics author, to rewrite the script.

It's reportedly the actor's initiative to tackle the story himself, after their attempt to compromise last year didn't lead to an agreement.

While Miller is said to be deeply committed to the role, there's a possibility that the will leave the project should the studio go with Daley and Goldstein's version and forgo Miller's take on the superhero.

Miller's contract on "Flash" will reportedly expire in May.
