Chinnappampalayam’s house of horror
TNN | Mar 17, 2019, 04:31 ISTThe two-bedroom tiled house looks like any other house in Chinnappampalayam village near Anaimalai, but for the presence of policemen, who are keeping a watch on it round-the-clock.
According to police sources, it was there Thirunavukkarasu and gang sexually abused and recorded videos of many women over several years.
The villagers, who would be busy on farmlands, hardly noticed the house. “As the windows were covered with dark sun control films, neighbours could not see what was happening inside. Moreover, two elderly people were staying in the adjacent house,” a villager told TOI.
Owner of a petty shop near the house said he never felt something was amiss. “I used to visit my farm often and was not aware about what was happening there.”
CB-CID sources said that Thirunavukkarasu and his friends often visited the house in a car. “As the car windows were also covered with sun control film, no one could see the occupants.”
Of the three videos that are doing rounds in social media platforms, two were recorded inside the house. “The gang raped the women and made videos without their knowledge” an officer said.
CB-CID police had searches the house two days ago.TNN
