Online admission process for Lucknow University kicks off today

Lucknow University (File photo)LUCKNOW: The online application process for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate courses of Lucknow University will begin from Friday. The detailed guidelines and admission brochure were uploaded on LU website on Thursday evening.
“The application process will be completed in six steps — registration, filling of personal details, qualification, uploading of scanned photograph, signature, preview and fee submission,” said admission coordinator Anil Mishra. He said the application forms will be opened for candidates from 3pm. Admissions to around 3,500 UG and 4,500 PG seats will be done through entrance tests. The counselling for all PG courses will be done ‘online on campus’ in which a candidate will not be required to visit the university for completing the admission process like fee submission and document verification. Meanwhile, in a first for UG courses, LU will conduct online counselling for regular BA/BA(Hons) courses. If it proves successful then the university will adopt the same system in all UG courses from the next academic session.
