GUNTUR: Stating that development is the only agenda of the TDP, assembly speaker Dr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao said on Friday that the party is going to form the government after the next elections.
The speaker said that he had not seen the positive response of the voters in the past as they have realised that implementation of so many welfare programmes and developmental works would not have been possible without Chandrababu Naidu at the helm.
Dr Kodela visited Challagundla, Kandlakunta, Chagallu, Nekarikallu and Chimalamarri villages of Nekarikallu mandal in the constituency on Friday.
Speaking to the people, Dr Kodela said that the party has developed the constituency and completely transformed it into a model segment.
He said that protests of the small group of the cadres was not a serious issue as he was confident that they would return to the party fold.
“I have nothing against anyone or anything. I know such minor rumblings are very common in any family and the issues get settled without any trouble,” said Dr Kodela.
He explained that the developmental works initiated by the TDP government were going to help them win the seat with massive majority.
He said that people were not ready to listen to the false campaign unleashed by the opposition parties.
Meanwhile, TDP cadres in Sattenapalle constituency were on cloud nine after rebel leaders agreed to join the party campaign and work for the victory of speaker Dr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao.
The rebel leaders, who created ripples in the party demanding removal of Dr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao as candidate, have finally joined hands with the speaker.
