What's good enough for Gwyneth is good enough for your Goldendoodle.

With the bone broth craze officially saturating the health food market, it's perhaps not so surprising that eventually, some very enthusiastic pet lovers would want to get their pups in on the healthy benefits of the nutrient-packed soup.

And now Rover, a website for dog owners, has gone so far as to create a bone broth recipe formulated specifically for dogs.

Kiki Kane, a 'canine chef,' shared the recipe for 'InstantPot Beef and Pork Bone Broth for Dogs' on the site this month.

'You’ve heard all the raves about how bone broth is chock full of collagen, gelatin, protein, and minerals,' the intro reads, 'but you’re not sure where to start? We’ve got you covered with a healthy, goof-proof version of bone broth designed just for your dog.'

The recipe calls for beef marrow bones, raw pig's feet, olive oil, celery, carrots, parsley, and apple cider vinegar.

The meat and veggies are roasted for an hour before the other ingredients are added, and the whole thing cooks in an Instant Pot pressure cooker for four hours.

'The marrow bones provide iron, protein, healthy fats, and minerals from the bone itself, while the pig’s feet are jam-packed with healthy gelatin and collagen from the cartilage that breaks down over the long cooking time,' says the chef. 'We added carrots, celery, and parsley for flavor.'

Kiki went on to say that yes, human can eat this too.

So what exactly makes it a special bone broth recipe for dogs? It's made without onions and garlic, which are bad for canines.

Similar recipes have popped up on Dogs Naturally and The Dogington Post.

For people who think that spending hours making homemade bone broth might seem like a lot of effort, there are actually several brand selling pre-made bone broth for dogs.
