Protocol of cooperation signed in Luanda by the Ministry of Tourism and World Tourism Forum

The document was signed by the Angolan Minister of Tourism, Angela Bragança and the president of the World Forum, Bulut Bagci, on the sidelines of a meeting on “Presidential Golf Day – Angola 2019,”  which is an event held before the World Tourism Forum that Angola will host from 23 to 25 May.

 

Bragança said that the document was a partnership agreement with the organization that owns the brand, setting out the responsibilities of the World Tourism Forum and the Ministry of Tourism for successful organization of the event.

 

Before the forum, the Presidential Golf Day will be held on 17 and 18 May in Luanda, for attracting multi-sector investments to the economy and promote business opportunities, focused on boosting tourism.

 

Golf tourism could prove to be a very promising market niche, in which Angola has advantages due to the diversity of its climate, landscapes, geography and natural beauty.

 

Bragança said that the World Tourism Forum will be important for promoting the country and its tourism potential. The president of the World Forum said that the institution would invest US$1 billion in Angola, and priority areas will be announced during the World Tourism Forum.
