APPSC Group I recruitment exam date postponed, check revised schedule here

As per the notification released on the official website of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), the APPSC Group I recruitment examination date has been rescheduled.
APPSC in the notification has announced that the recruitment examination for 169 Grade-I posts which was scheduled to be held on March 31 has been postponed. As per the revised schedule, the APPSC Group I 2019 examination will now be conducted on May 26, 2019.
The APPSC had released recruitment notification for the Group I posts in the month of January 2019.
In the revised exam date notification, the Commission said that the reason for the postponement of the exam is “administrative exigencies”.

Selection Process
The selection of the candidates for Group I posts would be on the basis of written examinations. Candidates would first appear for a preliminary exam and those who qualify prelims will be shortlisted for the Main exam. The APPSC Group I Main exam is scheduled to be held from June 10 to 22, 2019.
Age limit
The candidates who wish to apply for the vacancy need to be at least 21 years of age to apply for the post of a district fire officer and district fire officer. For rest of the posts, candidates who are 18 years old or above can apply.
