Indian pacer Mohammed Shami landed in trouble after the Women’s Grievance Cell of Kolkata Police filed a chargesheet against him. The cricketer was charged under IPC 498A (dowry harassment) and 354A (sexual harassment). The cricketer’s wife , Hasin Jahan, had filed a complaint of harassment against Shami and his brother, Hasib Ahmed, who is also named in the FIR. Earlier, Shami had refuted the allegations levelled against him, saying that his wife was trying to defame him. On the other hand, Hasin Jahan thanked Kolkata Police for standing by her.
