The Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has received the Param Vishisht Seva medal awarded by President Ram Nath Kovind. It is the military medal awarded for peacetime services not related to gallantries. 12 officers and 5 jawans were honoured with this award during the ceremony that took place earlier today at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
