Hotelier India gives you the low-down on AAHAR 2019
AAHAR 2019 – The international Food & Hospitality Fair is underway and Hotelier India is in New Delhi to be a part of this flagship fair, which focuses on featuring new trends in F&B, hospitality, culinary technology and retail.
With over 500 exhibiting companies participating in the event, we asked Ayush Garg, Design Consultant at Hospitality Solutions, to reveal the key factor to keep in mind while designing a hotel or restaurant. He responded with two major points – efficiency and sustainability. “One needs to keep in mind that it’s okay to be price sensitive but not cheap, a commercial set-up uses equipment at a far higher rate, resulting in a higher amount of wear and tear.”
TRUFROST
With this tip in mind, we were led to the Trufrost stall where Neeraj Seth, Managing Director, explained how durability is what drives the brand’s success. “Our display cases come with an advanced, double tempered and heated front glass that enhances visibility as well as prevents unhygienic condensation.”
ASSA ABLOY
While at Assa Abloy, Sanjeev Anand, Country Manager, explained how their VingCard Electronic Lock offers the latest Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology with mobile support being the most interesting feature.
KING KOIL
Of course, while technology and innovation is the need of the hour in the hospitality sector, comfort continues to play a vital role in the industry’s success. And there is nothing more comfortable than the right mattress. Sunil Dutta, Country Head at King Koil was extremely proud of the fact that hotels around the world have trusted King Koil to provide a premium sleep experience while away from home.
SPRING FIT
Nipun Gupta, Executive Director at Springfit Mattresses, spoke about the brand’s passion towards crafting deep, restful sleep using the latest Aero Sleep Technology – a system designed to provide the best ventilation for a great night’s sleep. “When you create something iconic, the world’s biggest icons take notice,” he said and we couldn’t agree more.
