Indore: With declaration of date of Lok Sabha elections, both the major political parties have begun trading barbs at each other for political gains. On Wednesday, BJP MLA Akash Vijayvargiya condemned Congress party president Rahul Gandhi for his pro-terrorist comment. On other hand, leader of Opposition in Indore Municipal Corporation Fozia Sheikh trained her gun at mayor Malini Gaud for doing “politics of credit”.
‘RaGa supports anti-national activists, must be booked’
BJP MLA from assembly constituency 3 Akash Vijayvargiya on Wednesday staged protest against All India Congress Committee president Rahul Gandhi and submitted a memorandum at Pardeshipura police station for registering a case against him on charges of sedition. He said Rahul Gandhi addressed terrorist Masood Azhar as Masood Azharji, a mark of respect.
Vijayvargiya alleged that Gandhi has been betraying the nation by giving respect to terrorist who is responsible for killing of Indian armed forces personnel.“Gandhi has supported people involved in anti-national activities. He has been supporting those who were raising slogans for country’s division,” Vijayvargiya said adding, “Rahul Gandhi demoralised Indian armed forces by asking for proofs of air strike on Pakistan and by secretly meeting Chinese representatives during Doklam conflict.” He appealed to police to register case against Rahul Gandhi for sedition. Police had closed the main entrance of police station as large number of BJP activists reached there with MLA for protests.
