British MPs reject no-deal Brexit in yet another voting; next is polling on delaying Brexit

London, March 14: A day after British MPs rejected the Brexit deal for the second time in two months, they rejected a no-deal Brexit as well. On Wednesday, March 13, amid high drama in the House of Commons, the lawmakers voted 312-308 in favour of rejecting a no-deal Brexit under any circumstances.

Wednesday's voting was the second successive one in relation to Brexit and now, on Thursday (March 14), the MPs will vote on delaying Brexit which is set to take place on March 29.

On the question of delaying Brexit, there could be a short extension or a much longer one and it all depends on whether the MPs support by March 20 Prime Minister Theresa May's existing withdrawal deal that has received the European Union's nod, BBC cited government sources as saying.

May thus can make yet another try to get her deal passed in the parliament in the next few days even though things are unlikely to be smooth even if it is passed for there is very little time now.
