‘This will strengthen the Constitution’

Sri Subhudhendra Tirtha, seer of the Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Mantralayam in Andhra Pradesh, has appealed to the general public having eligibility to cast their votes to compulsorily exercise their franchise and strengthen the Constitution.

He was talking to reporters at the mutt on Wednesday. He said that the beauty of the Constitution is that it gives equal rights to all citizens to decide their political representatives by casting their votes in elections.

Therefore, voters should make use of the opportunity to choose their political representatives in Parliament to raise their problems and find solutions to them, he added.
