TNAU-IRRI research collaboration on Digital Agriculture

A team of scientists from visited (TNAU) here to explore the possibility of developing a joint research project in digital agriculture.

The main focus of the visit was to discuss research collaboration between TNAU and the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), on Remote Sensing-Based Information and Insurance for Crops in Emerging Economies (RIICE) and other international agriculture research initiatives.

Tri D Setiyono, Cluster Leader, Geospatial Science & Modeling, IRRI, accompanied by Dr JS Prasad, Retd IRRI from Hyderabad, held a meeting recently with scientists from various departments in TNAU, a release said Thursday.

Setiyono organised a Seminar on "Crop monitoring strategies through and crop modeling" and interacted with scientists and students.
