Hours after unveiling her wax statue at Madame Tussauds London, Deepika Padukone is now making headlines as one of the cover girls on the April 2019 issue of Vogue US. In official Instagram posts that were just released, Deepika Padukone appears alongside Avengers star Scarlett Johansson and South Korean actor Doona Bae.

Apart from the three, the issue features 11 other global stars from 14 countries including Angelababy, Elizabeth Debicki, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Golshifteh Farahani, Hera Hilmar, Vanessa Kirby and Lea Seydoux, among others.

On the cover, Deepika Padukone is seen in a summery floral ensemble with minimal makeup and fresh flowers completing her look. Another inside image, photographed by Mikael Jansson, shows her in a Dries Van Noten flopsy-bow top and 3.1 Phillip Lim pants, styled with a vintage updo.

This might be her first Vogue US cover, but she’s no stranger to the audience there. Padukone made her Hollywood debut in 2017 with xXx: Return of Xander Cage alongside Vin Diesel and Ruby Rose, and has starred on a Vanity Fair On Jewellery cover.
