Actor and director Arbaaz Khan has lived under the shadow of his famous brother, Salman Khan, for as long as one can recall. However, it is not as if he hasn’t seen success in his own right — he produced Dabangg (2010) and directed Dabangg 2 (2012), both super successful films.

In the last couple of years, he has been in the news for his separation and later divorce from actor Malaika Arora. There was much speculation that his penchant for betting was one of the reasons why they parted ways. All that is, of course, a thing of the past now.

While both have moved on in life, Arbaaz has got busy with work and launched a new web series called Pinch. On one of his shows, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan was a guest and while a bulk of the questioning was done by Arbaaz, based on what people tell them on social media, a point came when roles were reversed and Kareena asked the questions.

She read a tweet by a person on Twitter who poked fun at Arbaaz. The tweet read: “According to sources, Thane police has stopped all investigations on Arbaaz Khan after seeing his bank statements. In fact, constable Patil gave his Rs 100 with a beedi and said, Yeh le, minimum balance toh maintain kiya kar. Fine lag jayega.”

Reacting to this, Arbaaz joked and acknowledged that he was indeed broke. “Yeah, this is true. I have no money in my account,” he said.

Of course, Kareena was sure to come to his rescue and quickly added that he had produced two successful films and that there was no way he was broke. Meanwhile, both Arbaaz and Malaika have found love elsewhere; while Malaika is reportedly dating Arjun Kapoor, Arbaaz has been seeing Giorgia Andriani.
