BHOPAL: The BJP had promised in the elections of 2008 that they will going to waive of the farmers loan of up to Rs 50,000, if they form the government, but they did not keep it after forming the government, alleged chief minister Kamal Nath, here on Tuesday. The CM said that BJP is creating fuss over the Congress government’s loan waiver scheme and warned them, not to fall into the BJP’s trap.
He told the farmers that the BJP is spreading rumours on the social media in an attempt to harm the farmers. He claimed that CM does not belong to a particular party. In fact he as a leader equally represents all the party and I had proved it when I was the Union Minister. Be it ministers or chief ministers whoever came to me seeking some favour, I ensured that they never returned empty handed.” He said that, till date loans of 24.84 lakh farmers had been waived of and after the removal of the Model Code Of Conduct the loan of remaining farmers will also be waived of.
