Collector’s guideline will be issued after Lok Sabha elections, public hearing also stopped

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, With the introduction of election code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections, the process of issuing the collector guide line has been stopped. Public hearing which is held on every Tuesday is also stopped. Along with this, if you rent out your house or if you keep a domestic servant in the period of code of conduct, then you will have to inform this in the concerned police station.

ADM Santosh Verma said that in the process of projecting collector guide line, public representatives are also involved. Therefore, this action will be done only after the code of conduct. Similarly, public hearing of Tuesdays are also been stopped. But the common men will be able to apply normally in relation to their problems.

At the same time, after commencement of code of conduct on Sunday evening, collector Sudam Khade has issued various prohibitory orders.

Section 144 Implemented: In an order issued under Section 144, the house cannot be rented out without informing the police. It is also necessary for hotel and lodge operators to enter the full information of the visitors/outsiders in the register and give their information to the police station.

The collector has asked all the construction agencies and other departments working in the district to submit the list of such development works in the District Election Office which have started and are in progress. Now no new development work will start during code of conduct.
