Ahead of General Elections 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal and others to urge their fans to turn up at the voting booths and vote for their desired candidate. PM Modi, who is pretty social media savvy, has tagged almost every Bollywood celebrity while urging them to spread awareness about elections among their fans.

PM Narendra Modi also wrote a tweet addressed to Bollywood biggies like Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Amitabh Bachchan asking them for the same.
