Actors Ranveer Singh and Amitabh Bachchan’s mutual admiration for each other has reached an all new high. After the senior Bachchan revealed in an interview that he watched Gully Boy 10 times, Ranveer went on to call him GOAT (Greatest of All Time) in the millennial language.

Amitabh had said in an interview with Zoom, “I actually saw Gully Boy 10 times to be able to match or even come near Ranveer Singh. I met him last night and I told him, ‘thank you so much, Ranveer. I’ve copied you and I tried to copy you and I failed miserably.”

On being asked about his reaction to the superstar’s claim, Ranveer said at the Filmfare press conference on Tuesday, “Imagine a kid sitting on the floor and watching TV. My dadi used to say – tujhe bada hoke amitabh bacchan banna h (You have to become Amitabh Bachchan one day).

He went on to add, “No matter how many times I take birth, I cannot even be a speck in front of him. He was the first ones to rap. What we do now, he did it before all of us. This millennial term GOAT (Greatest of all time) is made for him. I believe he is GOAT.”

Ranveer called Amitabh the reason behind him becoming an actor and said that every time he goes out to perform, it’s a tribute to the superstar.
