Gujarat board students of class 12 found their Economics paper easy but lengthy whereas, class 10 students were in for a pleasant surprise as they found Mathematics paper easy. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board on Tuesday recorded a total of 36 copying cases with 22 cases of SSC and 14 cases of HSC.
As per information shared by the board, for Maths, out of a total of 11,03,443 students, 10,80,619 students appeared for the exam whereas for Economics paper, out of a total of 2,95,479 students registered, 2,89,818 students appeared for the exam. While the next paper of class 10 is Social Science, class 12 will have Mathematics and Psychology to be held on March 14. Neel Shah, a class 10 student said, "I had anticipated Math paper to be difficult, but I was surprised to find it easy. In fact, I completed the paper before time and had time to re-check my answers." On day 1 of the board exams, a case of mass copying was registered at Matruvandana school in Junagadh where unauthorised persons were found taking copies of the answer sheets.
