‪Actors Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar are currently shooting for their film Saand Ki Aankh. The two have stepped into the shoes of world’s oldest sharpshooters -- Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar from Haryana popularly known as ‘shooter dadi’.

Taapsee and Bhumi have shared a new picture from the sets of the film in Baghpat. The two can be seen swinging by the hanging roots of a Banyan tree while being dressed in ghagras, with their heads covered with dupattas.

They had shared a similar glimpse of their village life a day before on Instagram. Taapsee and Bhumi can be seen making cowdung cakes with their bare hands in the picture which had a caption in Hindi that translates to “what a wonderful smell...it seems something amazing is being cooked.”

Taapsee had earlier shutdown the rumours of the film being shelved. The film was delayed for long but finally went on the floors around a month ago. The actor had shared a picture from their meeting with the real sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi. She had captioned it, “Kabhi humaari picture shelve karva dete hai kabhi title ki maara maari, maine socha main Khud hi picture announce kar deti hu through my PERSONAL MEDIANET ab jisko jo ukhaadna hai ukhaad lo ! Kickstarting the shoot of our country’s oldest and coolest shooters #Chandro#Prakashi‬.”

The actors had also wished their fans on Valentine’s Day with a picture from the sets of the film. The two can be seen holding a pistol in one hand and making a heart sign with the other. This was captioned, “Guns and ghagras.” This was followed by another picture of the two actors driving a tractor which Bhumi shared with the caption, “Off to work with Taapsee.”

Saand Ki Aankh, marks the directorial debut of Main Tera Hero and Ek Villain writer Tushar Hiranandani and is being co-produced by Anurag Kashyap and Nidhi Parmar.
