We had never heard of any dispute between the couple. Since Monday afternoon, they could not be reached over the phone due to connectivity problem. On Tuesday morning, I came to know that my brother-in-law had strangulated my sister and son at their official accommodation in Gaba Hospital. Both, the mother and son had strangulation marks on the neck. Anil also ended his life later, after jumping in front of a train near Kesri station,” he told cops.

Yamunanagar City SHO inspector Rattan Lal said, “Our teams visited the spot after getting information about the bodies. There were strangulating marks on their necks. In the morning, we received information that the body of the woman’s was found near the railway track at Kesri village in Ambala. It appears that the man killed his wife and child and then he went to his village (Haldari) in Ambala, where he killed himself by jumping in front of a train. We have registered a case. The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their family for last rites after conducting the postmortem examination.”
