Hannah Brown handed out her first rose minutes after being declared as Bachelorette
Hannah Brown’s Bachelorette season just started, but it’s already off to a promising start.
After the former Bachelor contestant was named the franchise’s new Bachelorette during the finale on Tuesday evening, host Chris Harrison welcomed out five contestants who will be competing for her heart.
Among the male contestants was Cam, who performed a rap for Brown on center stage.
“They’re cool. I’m liking what I’m seeing!” Brown told Harrison about the men.
Following each of the introductions, Harrison revealed that — for the first time ever — the finale would be hosting a live rose ceremony.

“Thank y’all so much for coming out here tonight. … Y’all are so brave and I can’t wait to see you all again. This is one of the hardest decisions I’ve made this season, but you all were great,” quipped Brown, 24.
“To those of you who don’t get this rose, I cant wait to see you all back at the mansion and try harder. In all seriousness, y’all are great. … I don’t know what I’m doing,” she said while fiddling with the rose.

“Cam … how you pumped up the jams, that was awesome,” she told him before pinning his rose.
But when she secured the rose on his suit, she forgot a key component of the finale: asking if he’d like to accept!
For a second time, she asked him while holding the rose, “Cam, would you like to accept this rose?” … and he happily did.
