Amber alert: boy, 5, missing from Windsor found safe and well
A five-year-old boy whose disappearance from Brisbane's north sparked an amber alert has been found safe and well.
Shortly after 8.30pm on Wednesday, police confirmed the boy had been found safe and well, along with a 35-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman he was believed to be with.
Police thanked the media and public for helping to find the boy and urged anyone with more information to come forward.
Earlier, police feared the five-year-old boy could be "at significant risk" after he went missing from a home on Brisbane's northside.
An amber alert was issued about 6.30pm to find the boy after he was reported missing to police from his Windsor home.
He was last seen with a 38-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man, who were known to him, on March 6.
It was believed they could be in the Aspley area.
The boy was described as Caucasian in appearance, about 120 centimetres tall and of a fair complexion with short blonde hair.
