Ujjain: A national level seminar was organised at government engineering college (GEC) on Tuesday by its chemistry department. The principal orator and educationist Dr Alok Shrivastava addressing the seminar told that recycling process of plastic has become advanced at present and use of bio-degradable plastic will soon be common. The inaugural session was presided over by principal Umesh Pendharkar and guests were welcomed by department head Dr AK Mishra. Dr Suman Mukhopadhyay from IIT Indore also threw light on the advancement of plastic recycling process.
During the lecture session scientist Dr RK Ravile of Bhopal under lined the future bad effects of plastic garbage that will put impact on environment, seas and the earth. Dr Sunil Panjabi also addressed the seminar. Dr Gunjan Gupta conducted the programme while Dr Arti Shavaiya extended the vote of thanks.
