Lucknow: Girl injured as bikers snatch her gold chain

Representative imageLUCKNOW: Two bikers snatched a gold chain from a 14-year-old girl and pushed her down when she resisted them in Madion on Tuesday. The girl suffered minor injuries. According to the police, Riya (name changed) had gone to meet her friend in Madion.
"When I was near the crossing, two youths came on a bike and the pillion rider tried to snatch my gold chain. When I resisted he pushed me down and snatched the gold chain. Then they sped off," she said.
SHO Madiaon Santosh Singh said police were scanning the CCTV footages in the area for clues.
