Capital Region Farmers Market celebrates 15th birthday

Make sure to visit the Capital Region Farmers Market on Saturday to help celebrate its 15th birthday.

There will be a chance to win one of 20 bags of fresh market produce and there will be a big birthday cake on site.

Many of the organisations which have benefited from the markets will also have stalls on Saturday.

The first Capital Region Farmers Market was held in March 2004, with just 15 stalls and around 850  customers. It now has 100 stalls and about 6000 customers a week.

The markets are still managed by the Rotary Club of Hall. All profits from our stallholder fees go to community, international youth projects, health, regional communities and other causes chosen by Rotary.

The markets are open from 7.30am to noon on Saturday at Exhibition Park in Canberra.
