Sugar slips on reduced demand

Sugar prices at the Vashi wholesale market declined by ₹15-20 a quintal as demand eased amid ample supplies. Prices at naka and mill level remained unchanged. Arrivals were at 58-60 truck loads and local dispatches were at the same level. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association spot rates: S-grade ₹3,155-3,236 and M-grade ₹3,192-3,352. Naka delivery rates: S-grade ₹3,130-3,200 and M-grade ₹3,180-3,230.
