PTSD Blood Biomarkers Identified

A 10-year study, involving veterans visiting the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center and headed by Indiana University School of Medicine, have identified blood-based genetic markers of psychological stress that could help develop improved, earlier diagnostics for PTSD and other stress disorders, and offer up new leads for the development of drug or natural compound-based therapeutics.
