‘Dear Evan Hansen’ gets its first teen lead
01:2216-year-old Andrew Barth Feldman was asked to audition for “Dear Evan Hansen” after winning Best Actor at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards last year. Until now, the Tony-winning show’s lead role had only been played by guys in their 20s.
