This Friday’s episode 10 of The Grand Tour is called ‘The Youth Vote’ and will see Clarkson, Hammond and May compare hot hatchbacks before being given instructions to stop what they’re doing and make the cars appeal to a younger audience.
The models in question are the VW Polo GTI, the Ford Fiesta ST and the Toyota Yaris GRMN. The episode will feature loads of social media references, fake punctures, emojis, a boat stunt and even an unboxing video courtesy of James May.
If that doesn’t sound exciting enough, how do you feel about Hammond and May putting two 80s supercars to the test on the Eboladrome? For this segment, the pair decided to go with the iconic Lamborghini Countach and the (just as iconic) Ferrari Testarossa. According to Grand Tour Nation, the two cars belong to none other than British motoring journalist Harry Metcalfe, who is also a car collector.
So far this year, The Grand Tour has visited the U.S., Colombia, Sweden, China, Scotland and other locations in Europe, with the presenters getting behind the wheel of some pretty spectacular cars, like the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Corvette ZR1, Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, Cadillac CTS-V, BMW M5, Alpina B5, NIO EP9, Alpine A110, Lamborghini Urus or the Jaguar XE Project 8.
The tenth episode of The Grand Tour Series 3 will stream on Amazon Prime Video this Friday, March 15th.
