Today’s Connors Research Traders Journal has three informative pieces to help you improve your trading.

  1. Linda Raschke – New Book

Legendary trader, and my co-author of Street Smarts, Linda Raschke has a new book out. It’s her first book since Street Smarts was published in 1995.

Linda’s new book is not a strategy book. It’s a book is more about how one person succeeded decade after decade many times against all odds. The book also provides you an insight into what it was like trading on the floor in the 80’s and then successfully running her CTA for over two decades. The name of the book is Trading Sardines (you need to read the book to understand the title). It’s a fun read and inspirational read. The book has my strongest recommendation. You can order Linda’s book directly from her at https://lindaraschke.net/new-book/

  1. Howard Marks Interview

Howard Marks is one of the legendary hedge fund managers in the industry. I learned a lot from his interview and I believe you will too.  https/fs.blog/howard/marks

  1. Programming in Python For TradersDon’t Be A Dinosaur!

Last night we held the first night of our new Python for Traders Programming course.

The turnout was 4 times larger than we projected.

If you would like to move from the closed world of retail trading which programs in TradeStation and Amibroker, and into the professional world of Open Source Python programming, please listen to the first 50 minutes of our first class.

The range of the class members is broad (no experience programming to masters degrees in computer science, including Cesar Alvarez and Matt Radtke being students in the class).

Everyone, no matter what their starting level, will finish in the same place – being proficient in testing and researching in Python on the Quantopian Platform (a free platform).

The feedback from last night’s class was terrific…

“Thanks Chris. You have really simplified this stuff.”

“That was great!”

“It was python simplified.”

“Thanks Chris, great class”

” … even though I know a bunch of Python this was presented very well. I still learned a bunch of things! Thx”

“Excellent – thanks Chris”

There’s still time to join the class – we’ll get you the first night’s materials immediately.

Even if you have no programming experience at all you will be able to program in Python for Trading in 5 weeks.

If you’d like to join the class, please click here or call Tim Kiggins at 888-484-8220 ext. 616
