Share market update: OMCs trade in the green; RIL, ONGC among top gainers
The S&P BSE Oil & Gas index was trading 0.57 per cent up at 14,800.73 around 12:25 pm.
NEW DELHI: OMCs were trading in the green in Tuesday's afternoon session with their sectoral index on BSE in the positive zone.
Shares of Reliance Industries (up 1.52 per cent), Oil India (up 1.12 per cent), Castrol India (up 1.00 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation (up 0.65 per cent) were trading higher.
GAIL (India) (up 0.58 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 0.31 per cent) and Indian Oil Corporation (up 0.16 per cent) too were trading with gains.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 108.60 points at 11,276.65 while the BSE Sensex was up 374.42 points at 37,428.52.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.
Shares of Suzlon Energy, South Indian Bank, Reliance Communications, JP Associates, Indiabulls RE, NBCC, Ashok Leyland, Reliance Power and CG Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
