Cape Town - The banned duo of Steve Smith and David Warner are being reintegrated into the Australian setup, according to reports.
At the end of this month, both players will have served their one-year bans from international cricket following their roles in the infamous Newlands ball-tampering scandal that rocked world cricket last year.
According to Cricinfo, Smith and Warner will join the rest of the squad later this week in the UAE ahead of Australia's five ODIs against Pakistan.
That series begins on March 22, but Australia are expected to arrive in the UAE on March 14.
Warner and Smith are expected to spend three days with the squad before leaving for the IPL where Warner will play for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Smith is signed to the Rajasthan Royals.
While the pair's bans will be lifted on March 29, the report adds that Smith might still have some work to do to get fully fit as he continues his recovery from shoulder surgery.
