The Bureau of Statistics said that the earnings stood at over $522 million.
When compared to 2017 December quarter, major changes in earnings by countries were recorded. Australia was down by 5.2 percent to $244.4m contributing 46.7 percent to the total. NZ was down by 20.7 percent to $105.5 million contributing around 20 percent. USA was up by 71.2 percent to $44.5 million contributing 8.5 percent to the total. The Pacific Islands was up by 91.4 percent to $24.5 million contributing 4.7 percent to the total.
