The Huzurabad police arrested three persons and seized 75-kg. of ganja worth ₹3.75 lakh, a motorcycle, three mobile phones, and ₹5,000 cash from their possession.

According to Huzurabad Inspector Madhavi, Huzurabad SI Chandrashekhar and his constabulary staff were conducting a vehicle-checking operation at Indiranagar Colony when two persons coming on a motorcycle noticed them and tried to escape. However, they were chased and caught. On interrogation, they confessed storing huge quantity of ganja with another person in Huzurabad town. The police raided a house in Huzurabad and seized 75-kg. ganja.

The arrested were identified as -- K Ramesh, 53, V. Chandra Reddy, 36, of Kazipet in Warangal district, and A. Ravi, 48, of Huzurabad town.
