Police find $1.5m cannabis supply in routine traffic stop west of Brisbane
More than $1 million worth of cannabis has been seized by police after it was discovered in a van during a routine traffic stop west of Brisbane on Monday.
The Hyundai iLoad was pulled over about 7pm on the Warrego Highway in Minden, 64 kilometres west of Brisbane.
A search allegedly uncovered more than 250 kilograms of cannabis, equating to a street value of more than $1.5 million dollars.
A 27-year-old Laidley man was charged with possessing dangerous drugs and was due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
