Luke Perry's daughter hit back at online trolls who criticized her for appearing happy, swearing, and wearing colorful clothing on social media days after her father's tragic death.
Sophie Perry took to Instagram to slam her haters who judged her grieving process saying: 'I'm not going to sit in my room and cry day in and day out until the internet has deemed it appropriate for me to do otherwise.'
'Since my dad died I have received a lot of attention online...And I’m here to say that I did not ask for this attention, I did not ask to be thrown into some virtual spotlight, and while I don’t mean to offend anybody, I’m also not going to cater to any one else’s needs and beliefs,' she wrote in a candid post Monday evening.

She's since been spotted out and about with her mother Rachel 'Minnie' Sharp wearing colorful clothing and at times smiling.
'I am going to laugh and smile and live my normal life. YES I am hurt and sad and crying and beside myself with what happened to my dad. It’s the worst thing to ever happen in my life. And I am torn the f**k up over it. But I’m not going to sit in my room and cry day in and day out until the internet has deemed it appropriate for me to do otherwise,' she added.
'And if you knew my dad you would know he wouldn't want me to. So you shouldn’t either.'
She called out trolls scrutinizing the language she uses on social media and her wardrobe choices as she's been spotted out and about in colorful clothes.

'I'm 18. I swear like a sailor and sometimes I dress like a hooker,' she blatantly added.
One bitter troll commented on her Instagram picture with her mother from earlier this week saying: 'The fans seem more upset (about) the death of (your) father.'
Another added fuel to the fire posting: 'This is about your dad.'
One critic dissed her use of swear words writing: 'Clean your mouth up. Be respectful.'
Sophie and her brother Jack, 21, are Luke's two children by ex-wife Rachel 'Minnie' Sharp, who was married to the actor for 10 years.
Sophie was seen with her mother taking a quick coffee break at a Starbucks in LA's Studio City on Sunday where she wore a black T-shirt, purple leggings, and a denim jacket.
The two looks somber as they stepped out for their caffeine fix.
Sophie also took to social media earlier this week to praise her mother as the 'rock' of the family as they cope with the loss of their father.

In the caption Sophie wrote: 'You all know my dad is a super star, but I just want to share for a moment that I got really f***ing lucky in the parental department because this is my mom. Minnie. Who also happens to be my best friend. Wow, how cliche, I know.
'And she is the rock for everybody grieving in this family right now. She’s the toughest and sweetest and most amazing woman I or anyone else has ever met.
'How did I get so lucky to have two icons for parents? I love you mom and I could not get through this absolute s*** situation without you. None of us could.'
Luke and Rachel married in November 1993 in Beverly Hills before separating in 2003. He was engaged to family therapist Wendy Madison Bauer, 44, at the time of his death.
Perry's family is reportedly planning to lay the beloved star to rest at Los Angeles' Forest Lawn Cemetery.
