RRB Recruitment 2019: Registration process begins for 1 lakh Level-1 posts today, here’s everything you should know before applying

RRB Recruitment 2019: The application process for recruitment on 1 lakh RRB Level 1 posts will begin today. The RRC 01/2019 registration link will be activated at 5 pm today at March 12, 2019. Candidates are advised to apply online from the official RRB regional websites only.

The CEN 01/ 2019 recruitment notice of 1.3 lakh vacancies was released on February 23. There are 1 lakh vacancies for RRB level-1 posts while the rest 30,000 posts are of paramedical staff, non-technical popular categories (NTPC), ministerial and isolated categories.

Application process for RRB NTPC began on March 1

Application process for RRB paramedical staff began on March 4 and

Application process for RRB ministerial and isolated categories began on March 8.

For RRB Level 1 posts, the application is scheduled to begin on March 12, today.

RRB Recruitment 2019- Application fee: The application fee for general candidates is Rs 500 and for candidates from reserved category it is Rs 250.

RRB Recruitment 2019- Details of vacancy: The Level 1 posts category includes vacancy for Track maintainance Grade IV, Helper/assistant in various technical department, assistant Pointsman and and level 1 posts in other departments. However, a detailed notification will be released before the application process that will have all the details related to the vacancy.

RRB Recruitment 2019: Selection procedure :

Candidates will have to qualify 1st and 2nd stage of CBT exam of 100 and 120 marks, respectively followed by a skill test, document verification, medical examination

RRB Recruitment 2019: Exam Pattern

For all the notified posts under CEN 01/2019, candidates will have questions related to general awareness, maths and general intelligence and reasoning for a total of 100 marks. There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

The registration for more than 1 Lakh Level 1 or Group D vacancies will begin tomorrow. As the latest notification from Indian Railway says, the RRB Group D 2019 application process will begin tomorrow at 5 pm on RRB websites. The indicative advertisement for recruitment on RRB Group D or Level 1 posts was published by Indian Railway in Employment News on February 23, 2019. In the indicative advertisement, the national carrier had said that the recruitment registration for Level 1 posts will be through Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) websites.

The detailed advertisement for Railway Level 1 posts will also be released tomorrow. The total number of vacancies available will be clear after the detailed advertisement is released and so will be the required eligibility.

Based on previous Level 1 post recruitment, it is clear that candidates applying for RRB Group D recruitment need to have passed at least Secondary School Certificate examination and/or possess NCVT/SCVT certificate. The eligibility criteria may differ for different posts. Candidates are advised to go through the detailed advertisement carefully before beginning the registration process for Level 1 recruitment.

The board will conduct a Computer Based Test (CBT) for selection of candidates.

Indian Railway recently concluded the first stage of selection process for more than 62,000 Group D or Level 1 posts. The first stage of RRB Group D recruitment, which was CBT, was conducted by Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). The ensuing process of Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted by Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs).

Indian Railway announced the Level 1 recruitment along with NTPC vacancies. RRBs are conducting recruitment for NTPC posts after a gap of 3 years. The last NTPC recruitment was announced in 2015 and the recruitment process was completed in 2017.
