In the 21st century, almost everybody has become a walking mobile office. If we look around, most of us would have mobile workforces of people who would be traveling the length and breadth of this country trying to get things done. This is the unique opportunity that Microsoft and its customers discussed during a recent event on Microsoft Kaizala. The Kaizala app gives the advantage to go to the nooks and crannies without even physically going to places while managing the workforce at the same time.
Microsoft Kaizala is a simple and secure mobile chat app with powerful workable potential. The uniqueness lies in being a mobile chat app along with some mind-boggling capabilities.
Thanking the customers and partners who made the success happen, Anant Maheshwari - President, Microsoft India, delivered the keynote at this event and explained how Kaizala has helped to empower the mobile first frontline workers by saying, “It is a special occasion for us and a moment of pride. It is a huge feeling of pride for us as this chat-based application at the beginning has now evolved to a task and messaging application and is deployed across several countries globally within just the first year of it being launched.”
Kaizala started off as a vision—a made for India product. This entire idea of doing something unique was born a year ago. It enables organizations to communicate effectively, efficiently and securely with their first line workforce. It helps extend communication in a secure environment between first line workforces even if they are in remote locations.
It allows organizations to deal with partners, customers, employees using just a phone number. Kaizala makes it very easy to coordinate with task workers, vendors, distributors, partners, and customers using a simple chat interface. One has the option to run a survey or even collect data through it.
Microsoft also highlighted some of the success stories to take the audience through the journey of Kaizala and show the business strengths and how businesses can improve their efficiencies by connecting their workforces in this manner. The event also witnessed how industry leaders have used Kaizala to do much more in their business than what they were restricted to do till now.
“This is a really proud moment for Microsoft, for the engineers, for the teams that have made the solutions come to life in the market and also for the customers who had started using the tool that was conceived here. Microsoft Kaizala was built for the understanding of what the local market needs and then all of a sudden finding way to get that into the hands of users which has made it an incredible journey since last year. I’ve got messages from other countries complimenting its impact on businesses and asking us to launch it in a lot more countries”, said Meetul Patel, COO, Microsoft (India) at the event hosted in Mumbai.
Today, more than 28 countries and counting have begun to use this application. Office 365 has given employees the toolkit for getting better and increasing their productivity as well. Many of the people that work in organisations are not within those walls but rather out there, coming and going and not privileged with the same tools as other employees.
“We took what was available and came up with this product that catered to more than 400 Million people in the Indian markets, all thanks to the data evolution and availability of smartphones. Today we have a good communication tool as on this path of productivity for front-line workers and ecosystem users. After observing and rectifying errors and loopholes, Kaizala is a simple, secure, mobile messaging platform and task app that allow you to get the job done. It includes features such as work management, security and manageability. With the introduction of applications such as Kaizala, our mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more," Meetul Patel added.
The healthcare industry is witnessing an evolution of messenger application and the benefits it brings along with it to the sector. Rajiv Kumar, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft (India), while providing technical details and user interface in a presentation stated that more number of patients are being attended by doctors and plays an important role in transferring confidential patient data to their respective doctors.
Almost all customers today need automated systems, which is where Microsoft India sees the requirements coming from. The customers are talking about workforce transformation while digital transformation spreads its effects in the country.
Towards the end of the event, the interactive audience moved to the live experience zone of Kaizala app which exhibited how the Kaizala application works, how organizations can keep a common tap of communication and networking while sharing information to employees in the organization to keep them up to date, and how the data sent across by employees to each other is transferred securely with enterprise-grade security.
